Art should be felt as much as it is seen. TERRAVA creates made-to-order wall art for interiors that value texture, depth and a sense of character. Each piece begins with a composition, then comes to life through colour, relief and hand-finished details.
Painted and finished by hand
Our artworks are created on canvas and finished by hand, so the surface is never completely flat or mechanical. Layers of paint, visible brushwork and textured details give each composition its own presence. Depending on the design, the finish can move from soft painterly passages to pronounced sculptural relief.
We work with oil-painting techniques and textured finishes to build depth, contrast and movement across the canvas. Because the final stages involve hand painting and hand finishing, subtle variations in colour, texture and brushwork are part of the character of each piece rather than imperfections.
Texture changes with the light
A textured painting does not look exactly the same throughout the day. Raised details catch natural and artificial light differently, creating shadows and highlights that shift as you move through the room. This is why we pay particular attention to relief, surface and the balance between matte and more luminous areas.
From quiet ivory and beige compositions to deep greens, terracotta tones, figurative works and expressive abstracts, the aim is the same: to create wall art that adds more than colour to a room. It should add material, rhythm and atmosphere.
Made to order, made for your space
Every TERRAVA artwork is made to order. Rather than limiting a composition to a single format, we offer a range of dimensions so the artwork can work with the proportions of your wall and furniture. You can choose a rolled canvas for local stretching and framing, or select a finished frame in black, white, gold, wood or silver.
This made-to-order approach also means that the hand-finished surface of your piece may show small differences from the photographs. Those variations are a natural result of the painting and finishing process and make each finished canvas subtly individual.
From the brushstroke to the finished piece
Details matter most when you see them up close: the direction of a brushstroke, the edge of a raised form, the transition between two colours, or the way a textured layer casts a small shadow. These are the elements that give a painting physical presence beyond the image itself.
Our room photographs are designed to help you imagine scale and atmosphere. For exact proportions, always use the dimensions shown on the product page and our size guide.
Art chosen to live with you
TERRAVA brings together abstract, textured, figurative, botanical, Western and sports-inspired artwork with one common idea: a wall piece should feel connected to the room around it. We look for compositions that can become a focal point without making an interior feel impersonal.
